Registered users can simply send a request for EU documents through the website. The website forwards this request to the specific EU institution, body, office, or agency identified in the request. When the response is received, it is automatically published on AskTheEU.org and submitters will also be notified. The website also provides guidance on formulating good requests and provides information on the possibility to challenge an EU institution disclosure decision.
